.to take responsibility of the hands-on development of the low-temperature imaging unit of our THz-camera which can be used to detect concealed objects under clothing in various security applications.  

Your main tasks include

·      Characterization of the bolometer matrix of the THz camera

·      Assembly, integration and testing of THz cameras

·      Building prototypes of various THz imaging setups and the related software

·      Further development of THz camera imaging cell

·      Various technical support tasks related to customer projects

We require

·      Ph.D/M.Sc/Diploma Engineer degree in physics or electrical engineering

·      Experience in sensor technology and in making measurement setups

·      Basic knowledge of Python programming language

·      Ability to work independently and to learn

·      Flexibility and startup mindset

·      Open communication and positive attitude

We appreciate skills in

·      Optical and/or RF measurements

·      Design of optical systems

·      Cryogenics

·      3D FEM modelling

·      Programming in Python
